"devil" island

To me Angel Island is Devil Island, even though the view is beautiful. It was the last hiking trip we had. My neck tendons were in pain and I couldn't turn my neck to other side. Mr. Mark and Ms.Kirk brought some of us to the top of the hill. The way was so rugged and it had a lot of rocks. It was hot and I was sweating. I was conflicted because I wanted to see the whole island, but I was so tired. I tried my hardest to walk and kept saying to myself " it is the last day and summer vacation is coming." We didn't have enough time to go down when we were on the top of the hill. if we stopped running down, we would miss the boat and we needed to spend 2 hours on this awful island. Even though I didn't have rest and I was out of energy, I didn't want to encumber the other students and teachers. At that time, I felt like my body was really heavy and I couldn't move any more. I also felt dizzy and was almost falling down. I would like to faint and let somebody carry me, but my body didn't allow me to do that. It was a nightmare for me. After I ran down the mountain, My eyes were welling up with tears because I finally overcame it and it was really stressful. I wore out my shoes just in these two weeks.
